Our adventure with this wonderful breed started in 1999 and has grown since!

Katahdin's are hair sheep, meaning they shed just like a goat and do not need to be sheared. They are a hardy breed and only need easy care. The biggest portion of our flock went down with Johanna and John in 2007 to Scio Oregon, but we are
expanding our own now, here.

Lambing is already over for us in 2008 and we look forward to next year when we will have a few more ewes to lamb!

I’m planning to expand my herd, so that I eventually will get enough lambs each year to sell some meat-lambs and ewes, besides the four per year for our own family use.

If you are looking for some wonderful sheepmeat or a marketlamb contact my sister!
