Johann is very long, heavily muscled, and big!
He has had great weight gain, a trait that he is passing on to his lambs.

We used Johann on 8 ewes for 2010 lambing. We've been so pleased with his lambs. (You can see some picture examples on his page.) It has been a hard choice deciding who should stay.

We were able to show Johann as a Jr. Ram Lamb at the Clackams County and State Fair in 2009. He did well and loved the attention. He took Reserve Grand Champion Ram for Katahdins at State!

We plan on attending the 2010 Washington County and Oregon State fairs this year. If you're there, stop by. He'd love to meet you!

An amazing ram that has proved himself through his offspring! I couldn't count how many excellent lambs this ram has given us!

We do not have the paper work on Louis, but he is one wonderful 100% Katahdin from the former breeder, Nepolyn (flock prefix AV). We've made the decsion to keep using him and record his daughters. He's too good to put into retirement.

He has truly been invaluable! Thank you so much John and Johanna of CKN Katahdins for letting him stay! We look forward to seeing what else he'll give us.
